A Juried Art Exhibit Sponsored by the
Wendell Chamber of Commerce 
& the Wendell Woman's Club

Discover the beauty of our lovely town with our first juried art exhibit celebrating the "Charms of Wendell." This exhibit will showcase original fine art pieces that depict our people, landscapes, town views, unique buildings, and the many interesting things that make Wendell, North Carolina, such a wonderful place to live.

The "Charms of Wendell" exhibition will be displayed in the Wendell Woman's Club building on Cypress Street. The opening reception will be Friday, January 23. The exhibition dates will be Friday, January 23 - Sunday, January 25, 2008.

To participate as an artist, please plan to submit your fine art work which demonstrates the theme "Charms of Wendell." Come visit our town to paint on location!

Open to North Carolina artists 18 years of age or older. Work must be original, completed within the last two years, and focus on the theme "Wonders of Wendell." No photography, prints, crafts, 3D sculptures or pottery. All work must be available for purchase, frames, ready for hanging and may not exceed 24" x 36".

Cash prizes and gift certificates will be awarded. Entry fee is $15.00 per person for up to two pieces. One or two pieces may be chosen.

Work will be display January 23 - 25 at the Wendell Woman's Club and winning pieces will then be displayed in the Wendell Chamber of Commerce through the month of February.

All winner's work will be featured on the Wendell Chamber of Commerce and the Wendell Woman's Club websites and will be included in a press release February 2009.
